Hale Haumana is an alcohol-free facility, located across the street from MCC's Kahului campus on Wahine Pi`o Avenue. The facility is owned and operated by MCC and has 11 apartments with space for 44 students. Each apartment is fully furnished with a kitchen, living room, bath, and two bedrooms. Utilities except telephone are included in the rent. Central laundry and recreation facilities are available. For the Fall 2006 semester, the cost for residing in this facility is $1,605 per student, per semester for a two-person bedroom. There is a $150 reservation-security deposit and a $10 application fee. To apply, call 242-6920 or write to the Student Housing office.
