Aloha and Welcome to Maui Community College!

Maui Community College is an accredited, government approved degree-granting college that enrolls approximately 3000 students per semester. Located on one of the world’s most beautiful islands, Maui CC boasts numerous award-winning programs including culinary arts, hospitality and tourism, electronics and computer engineering, nursing, and more. As reflected by a MetLife Foundation Best Practices Award, both the faculty and student support services staff are committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and career success.

Maui CC is a beautiful and safe campus located in Kahului, Maui, approximately two miles from the main airport. Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands, with land area of 729 square miles. The island's population of 117,644 is diverse, with an ethnic mix of 36% Caucasian and 23% Japanese, followed by Hawaiian, Chinese, and Filipino.

Academic Programs

Maui CC offers excellent programs for students transferring into bachelor degree programs at University of Hawaii institutions or other accredited colleges and universities. Maui CC also offers over 17 Career and Technical Education degrees and certificates in subjects such as Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Sustainable Construction Technology, and much more. In
addition, the college offers a four-year bachelor’s degree in Applied Business and Information Technology.

International Student Services

Maui CC offers a comprehensive range of services to international students, including airport pickup, short and long term housing, community orientation, translation services, shopping and activities information, health insurance, counseling (academic, career, transfer, and personal), campus health center access, cooperative education and job
placement, and on-campus student activities.		 English Language Program

Maui CC's Maui Language Institute offers a strong English language program for international students who want to improve their English skills for academic, professional, or personal purposes. Intensive English classes are offered in six-week sessions and can be customized to meet individual and group needs.

Transfer Opportunities

International students successfully transfer to excellent colleges and universities in Hawaii and across the United States. You will be assigned an academic advisor who will work with you to develop an educational plan to achieve your short and long term goals.

Student Housing

Kūlanaa’o is a privately owned and managed apartment complex conveniently located within walking distance to the Maui CC campus, the Kahului Library, and the Queen Ka’ahumanu shopping center.  

Space reservations are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
